The Maria Dress - Danae x Hellenic Aesthetic
Introducing “Dressing the Table,” a circular fashion project from Danae and Hellenic Aesthetic.
The inspiration behind this project is to bring new life into our forgotten family heirlooms, like hand embroidered tablecloths, so we can enjoy them in a modern way. In doing this, we hope to honor the hands that carefully made them, the meals that were shared upon them and the conversation that was had around them.
How it works:
Send us your tablecloths and we’ll make them into something you can wear.
After you complete your purchase, we will mail you a prepaid envelope to send us your tablecloth.
Once we receive your tablecloth, your custom Maria Dress will be handmade in New York City. Your order will be ready ship approximately 3-4 weeks after we receive your tablecloth.
This is a limited time collaboration, orders close May 17th.
Tablecloth guidelines:
We accept any type of fabric. Tablecloth dimensions for dress: approximately/at least 6 feet by 4 feet
For a more personalized and unique dress, we recommend the tablecloths with embroidery. If there is a crochet or lace detail, it shouldn’t make up more than 20% of the fabric. If you have any questions about the suitability of your fabric, please email photos to faidra@danaethebrand.com.
We reserve the right to reject your fabric if it doesn’t follow the above guidelines. If we cannot use your tablecloth we will mail it back to you and refund you minus the shipping costs.
